Freshly Made Sketches

There's a great new sketch over on the Freshly Made Sketches blog and it was perfect to use some of these leafy corner dies from Papertrey Ink!

I started with a new patterned paper pad (6x6 "Time to Relax" by P13 Paper Products). All the bird parts plus the floral background and the green panel are from this pad.

I splattered with some white Gouache paint and double die cut the hello die from True Black paper. Not sure any birds IRL have white legs and feet, but this one does - lol! I send cards fairly often to a friend's sister who is handicapped and LOVES getting mail! It's fun to share my ever growing card assortment with others!

STAMPS: Tuck It Sentiments, Feathered Friends Mini 8 (branch) by Papertrey Ink.
INK: Weathervane, Amethyst Allure (PTI).
PAPER: Time to Relax 6x6" pad by P13 Paper Products; True Black, White (PTI).
DIES: Feathered Friends 22, Feathered Friends Mini 8, Larger Than Life: Hello, Cornered Leaves (PTI); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics, Blueprint 27 by My Favorite Things.
OTHER: White Gouache paint; White gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Here's a cute poster that says it all...

This is really nice. I would not have thought about using an image in the middle like you did with the bird. In fact I struggle with sketches like that one. You card is wonderful.

Love your color palette, Wanda! This sweet bird looks fabulous nestled in the leaves. Thanks for playing along with us at FMS this week.
