Melody Rupple and I are up on the Papertrey Ink blog with a new "What Do I Do With This?" challenge and we chose to feature Stickles on our projects. Stickles are basically a glue-like substance with glitter added and they come in small bottles with fine tips which makes it easy to get into tiny spaces!
I typically add Stickles to celebratory cards or sometimes with Christmas greetings. Today, I wanted to use this favorite birthday die called Cover Plate: Big Balloon. It also has a coordinating stencil set that you can use to add some interesting details to the balloons. I added some hearts and some tiny dots to jazz mine up a bit! Next, I prepared my embellishments and sentiment. These fun little roses from PTI's recently released set worked out well to add some sparkle and shine to the card. I used the pink and orange colors from the alcohol ink base to coordinate the sentiment.
The florals were colored with Copics then Crystal Stickles were added to the edges and shadowed areas of the images.
