I thought I'd make this a quick card, but it was one of those days when numerous steps just didn't work out and I had to go to plan B! Had it all completed then said "ick"...I should have used a melon mambo or eggplant ribbon instead...but there was no undoing the foam tape at that point.
I created this for three different challenges:
Color Challenge on SCS - Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant, River Rock
Flourishes' Timeless Tuesday Challenge - Frame it
Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge - sketch
This is my first time playing along with this sketch challenge, but saw it on a friend's blog and loved it! I brayered Elegant Eggplant and Melon Mambo ink on the embossing folder, then ran it through my Big Shot. I die cut a square Nestie inside a Wonky Rectangle Nestie for the frame. I cut the tulip outline using a cut file on my Silhouette then stamped Flourishes' tulip image from their Tulips for Friends set and colored with Copics. The sentiment is from the Magnolias set - also by Flourishes. The card base is Elegant Eggplant thought it tends to look black in the photo.
Have to run and get ready for work. It's infection control committee meeting day and as the employee health nurse, I have to attend. Thanks for stopping by...

I'm so glad other people have days like that!! : ) It is pretty, though. I think that we are harder on ourselves than other people are!!

Fan-tabulous card Wanda! Love the frame that you created for your sentiment! Awesome colouring of your tulip! Thanks for joining at Flourishes for our "Timeless Tuesday Challenge" this week.
