Paper Players Challenge

The current sketch challenge for The Paper Players was a great one that I couldn't pass up. The scalloped border and the scalloped circle dies are from Papertrey Ink. The echinacea floral and the sentiment are from Creative Worship Stamps.

The base panel was a leftover that I decided would be a perfect background for this sweet echinacea image.

I smooshed Dusty Concord and Shaded Lilac distress inks over some Bristol Smooth Surface paper then stenciled some dots and stamped some music and script stamps in black.  The flower was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne pigment ink then clear embossed. I used an aquapainter brush to pick up distress ink colors from my glass mat. I finally opened my new Posca white pen and I'm in love! My gelly roll white ink pen just never wanted to work well for me, so I'll see how Posca will perform.

STAMPS: Patient Echinacea, Texture Tiles 1 (Creative Worship Stamps).
INK: Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac, Milled Lavender, Bundled Sage, Mowed Lawn, Fossilized Amber distress inks (Ranger); Versafine Clair Nocturne.
DIES: Patient Echinacea (Creative Worship Stamps); On the Edge: Scallops Collection, Love to Layer: Scalloped Circles (Papertrey Ink).
OTHER: White Posca pen; Prismacolor pencils; Oval punch (Stampin' Up); Lots of Dots mini stencil (Creative Worship Stamps).

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!  ~Wanda
