It was a BIG challenge for me to create a one layer card, but I did it! That's the sketch request for The Paper Players challenge and I liked that the team pointed out if you glue anything onto your card, it's no longer one layer - lol! In the past I have used embellishments, but technically that's a no-no!
I stamped the Sketched Flowers using Versafine Clair Nocturne pigment ink then clear embossed it. I watercolored the image using Pentrista paints then stenciled a watercolored outline using Aqua Mist ink.
STAMPS: Sketched Flowers (Simon Says Stamp).
INK: Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Stamper's Select White (Papertreyink).
OTHER: Watercolor Wash Free Form stencil (My Favorite Things); Clear embossing powder.

Wanda, you've chosen a perfect way to create a one layer card! Love how the pretty floral spray takes of most of the card front and stenciling the watercolor outline is brilliant so the card doesn't warp. Thank you for playing along with the Paper Players this week!
A perfect one-layer card, Wanda! The Watercolor Wash Free Form stencil makes a lovely backdrop for these fun and colorful flowers. I LOVE everything about this. I am so glad you played with us at The Paper Players this week!
Wanda... I have always loved this image. Love how you used the MFT stencil for the background...such a great idea. Beautiful card. Thanks for sharing your creativity with the Paper Players this week.
