Mojo Monday
Mary Fish has a wonderful curvy sketch for the Mojo Monday challenge this week and it can go round or square. I loved the simple elegance of this CAS card...I kept wanting to add more to it and decided it was complete as is. The layout of the sentiment even seemed to follow the curve in the line! The flowers were found at Michael's (225 Occasions Handmade Decor Flowers) and I added half pearls from SU's Pretties Kit. I adhered them with Zip Dry paper glue that Julee recommended one time - it works really great if you need some mighty sticky power - lol!

SSD Sketch
Amy Sheffer has a fun sketch on the Skipping Stones Design blog. I've had this banner die from MFT for months and am just now getting around to trying it out! I also found some retired DP by SU and went with this pink and red combo...definitely NOT my norm, but the striped panel dictated the coordinating colors. Pretty straightforward card with the banner being the most time-consuming element to put together.
STAMPS: Verve
PAPER: Candy Lane DP (SU), Vintage Cream
INK: Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: Banner die (MFT), Brads (SU), Lace, Grosgrain ribbon, Nesties, Primas
Spring Color Combo
The newest Raise the Bar Challenge is to be inspired by the colors from this picture: purple, yellow & blue. I went with a spring theme of flowers, since I had these great colors to work with! I got to break in my new square Nesties and used the old faithful set from PTI, Blooming Button Bits (stamped in Certainly Celery). Some ribbon and a sticker butterfly from K&Co made this a quick card to finish. Paper is from SU's Welcome Neighbor paper pad.
Casing Sue
Sue (Tillymint) is the featured stamper on SCS and I chose THIS CARD in her wonderful gallery to CASE. I changed images, colors and rounded the bottom corners to make it my own. The colors are for this week's Curtain Call Color Challenge: Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, Almost Amethyst, White.
STAMPS: Blue Skies (Verve), Vintage Labels (SU)
PAPER: Neenah Solar White
INK: Cajun Craze, Chocolate Chip, Almost Amethyst
ACCESSORIES: Terra Cotta satin ribbon (PTI), Label punch (SU), Brads, Corner Chomper

Shabby Chic
This is for 3 challenges:
ODBD Shining Light Challenge - use blue as the main color
Crazy 4 Challenges - use vintage or shabby chic elements
Just Us Girls - make our own flowers
I made a rolled felt flower using MFT's die and added a decorative brad to the center. The leaves are a MS punch. Lace, sponging, flowers and crinkled ribbon always says vintage or shabby chic to me. My laundry room is calling my name, so off to do some less fun chores!
STAMPS: ODBD Easter Blessings
PAPER: Julianne DP (K&Co), Vintage Cream (PTI), Mellow Moss - retired SU
INK: Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: Lace, Scallop border punch (SU), Kaiser silver pearls, MFT rolled flower die, Brad by SU, MS frond punch, Diamond and Labels Fourteen Nesties, Cream seam binding (SU)
Inspired by Zoya B
Stef and Holly brought us another fun website to explore for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS: Rooms by Zoya B. Fabulous room ensembles with some gorgeous fabrics! I chose this Paradise of Flowers for my inspiration and singled out the purple bloom. This card is also for the Play Date Cafe Challenge to create a black & white card with a splash of the color purple. I embossed a white panel after running it and the dotted swiss strip through the CB using the top note die. I added a piece of grosgrain ribbon, a strip of black pompom trim & some Kaiser silver pearls for accents. The flower is 3 different sized stamps that were stamped with Versamark ink then embossed with fine white EP, cut out and popped with foam dots. The leaves are a Sizzix die used on PTI's New Leaf CS.

Hello Sunflowers
On a cold, winter's day, Lydia is asking us to use warm fuzzies for the Free 4 All Challenge on SCS - use at least one warm color and something fuzzy on our card. I used Nut Brown Flower Soft on the flower centers and colored the image with Copics: YG11, YG17, YG93, Y19, YR04, E55, E57. The great sketch is by Amber for the first of four February sketches for the Viva la Verve challenge. A tag die layered on Riding Hood Red, some rickrack and a lacey circle Nestie completed this card. Sun is out and we're getting snow flurries...nooooo!!! I don't want anymore snow! The official count for our area on Wednesday was 9 1/2 inches. I do have to compliment the VDOT crews and my DH for clearing the roads and our driveway in record time!

No Greater Love
I made this card for ODBD Stamping in Time Challenge. The theme is love and ODBD stamps are required. This was the first set I purchased from them...just loved this cross image and of course the verse sentiment that goes so well with it! The DP is new from the Julianne pad by K&Co. The flourish is a Sizzix die that was cut from Blue Bayou CS. The cross was stamped in Soft Sky; verse in Chocolate Chip. Thanks for stopping by...
Rainbows
Kim has a rainbow theme for the Ways to Use It Challenge on SCS and you will need your sunglasses to view this card! I had this double-sided DP from the Berry Sweet pad from K&Co with really large bold flowers on one side and the tiny rainbows, unicorns & flowers on the opposite side. I cut out 2 of the same flowers and layered them with foam dots. The leaves are a Sizzix die using New Leaf CS from PTI. Some ribbon and some corner chomping finished this one up very quickly. No stamping involved! It's past my bedtime but had to unwind with making a card after I had a VERY challenging drive home from work this evening on some VERY slippery and snowy roads. We got about 8 inches of snow and it's in this kind of weather that I wish I was in a different profession! Those patients just don't go home when the weather is bad. Goodnight all!

Flower Girl
This is for 2 challenges:

The Long Haul
I got a head start on the Color Throwdown Challenge with their FB hint of "Marjolaine"...one of BasicGrey's newest paper pads. Even though I went with the floral BG panel, I still thought I could pull off a masculine card with these colors...plus the pickup truck pretty much says it's a manly man card! Now I'm humming that country song (and I'm not a big country fan!) ..."There's something women love about a pick up man". :-) Anyway...I colored the image with Copics, cut it out and added Crystal Effects to the hubcaps. The layout is a great one by Roxie for this week's SCS Sketch Challenge. This is also for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge to use hardware on a card. Thanks for visiting...love to hear your comments!
STAMPS: Loads of Love (SU)

Double Trouble
The teapotters have a decorating dilemma this week! We are to decorate a nursery for TWINS! Paticia (kokirose on SCS) has twin grandbabies - a boy and a girl - and papa loves monkeys, so that's our design theme. You can read all the details of Mothermark's story HERE. Every nursery needs a quilt for the crib, so I punched out 12 squares, stitched them together then ran it through the CB using the top note die. The monkeys were colored with Copics (R81, R83, B91, B93) and are perched on punched leaves using SU's 2-step bird punch. I added smiles to the images because I knew that Patricia's family was all smiles at the news of the twins!
Color Challenge
Betty has some unusual colors this week for the SCS Color Challenge: Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red, & Elegant Eggplant...forcing me to put my thinking cap on! Yes...I'm a stalker...I kept checking the new card additions on SCS to see what colors were on board. I made the card without knowing what the dessert option was, and I can't believe I didn't use a single die on this one! Oh, well...I need to skip dessert anyway - lol! I used my nearly forgotten sanded BG stamp...love the look of it, especially with distressed and sponged edges. I'll be anxious to see what everyone comes up with using these colors. This card is also for the Paper Sundaes Challenge to use distressing.
STAMPS: Blossoms Abound (SU), Tiny Tags (SU), Sanded BG (SU)
PAPER: Soft Suede, Elegant Eggplant, Riding Hood Red textured CS, White

Warm Wishes
The Shabby Tea Room challenge theme is Winter Wonderland and we were to be inspired by this beautiful picture! I used the sketch for Crazy 4 Challenges for the layout. This card is also for the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge blog - use black & white with a splash of 1 other color. This was a quick & easy card with dry embossing of the Aqua Mist panel using a 5 x 7 snowflake EF, a punched border in black, some adhesive rhinestones, paper-pieced mittens with Flower Soft on the cuffs, some silver bow wire and a button finish it off. The card is 4 1/2 inches square.
STAMPS: Winter Mittens (Verve), Vintage Oval Frame (Verve)
PAPER: Aqua Mist (PTI), Black, White
INK: Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: CB snowflake EF, MS border punch, Black rhinestones, Bow wire, Vintage button, Vintage oval frame die (Verve), Foam dots
Mojo Monday
It's Mojo Monday and Julee has another great sketch to start off the week! I used 2 fancy labels, punched a slot on each end and wove some ribbon through it. Three Nestie layers and a die cut heart and a huge layered bow with a hatpin finish off this love-filled card.
STAMPS: Love Notes (Verve)
PAPER: Raspberry Tart (SU), Melon Mambo, Neenah Solar White
INK: Melon Mambo, Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: Lacey Circles & Circle Nesties, Satin ribbon, stickpin from Pretties Kit (SU), Adhesive half pearls, Fancy Labels die, Dotted swiss EF

2-5-7-10 Box
This little box, using the tutorial on SCS as seen here, combines the Curtain Call Act 66 colors - Lavender Lace, Pretty in Pink, Cherry Cobbler, Bravo Burgundy & Vanilla - with the Just Us Girls challenge to use a template &/or create a 3-D project for a Valentine treat container. I goofed and used white instead of vanilla, but am hoping the challenge police won't come after me.

ACCESSORIES: Doily lace border punch (MS), Tiny flower punch (SU), Kaiser silver pearls, Ribbon, Butterfly sticker by K&Co, Scor-Pal
Casing Emily
Today's Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS recognizes Emily (Artsy_Em). I chose this card of hers to CASE with the moon/animal theme. I used a bear instead of an owl and changed the layout and colors. My layout is from the Skipping Stones Design blog where Amy Sheffer has a fun new sketch! You have to check out her purse card...she enabled me to buy that set! Some people buy lots of shoes. Me? I buy purses! :-) But I digress! The moon was a Google image that I printed on Neenah Solar White CS, colored with Copics (Y00, Y13, Y15), and cut out. The bear is from Verve's new To the Moon set...so many adorable images! He was colored with Copics (E55, E57). I dug into my nearly forgotten supply of eyelets and found these stars that went with the card theme. Hope you're having a great Sunday...I'm going to watch some football...go Packers!

Analogous Heart
Love the curvy line in this Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge...a perfect layout to use some new Verve that came in the mail today! The heart is one of Julee's new A Cut Above dies that coordinates with her stamps. I sponged the edges in Blue Bayou ink, added faux stitching using a Tombow marker, stamped the Soft Swirl BG stamp and colored in the green hearts with a Copic marker. Oh...and added some tiny pearls and a prima. A quick CAS card which is also for Our Creative Corner's Challenge to use analogous colors (3 adjacent colors on the color wheel - I used 2 shades of blue and green).
STAMPS: Smallest Things Plain Jane by Verve, Soft Swirls BG by SU
PAPER: Two Scoops (BasicGrey), Blue Bayou (tiny strip above lace), Whisper White
INK: Blue Bayou, Versafine Onyx Black

Think Spring!
This card is for 5 challenges:
ODBD Shining Light Challenge - sketch
ODBD Stamping in Time - All God's creatures great and small
Raise the Bar - N.E.W. (Nestie/Embellishment/White)
Inkspirations Color Challenge - Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, White
Paper Cutz Challenge - It's Your Choice (any themes, any colors)
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black on X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics then used a color spritzing tool (or a spitter as I call it) to spritz dark brown Tombow marker ink on it. The Early Espresso border is a new punch by EK Success called Chinese Knot Chain.
STAMPS: I Am the Way (ODBD)
PAPER: Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, Whisper White
ACCESSORIES: Oval Nesties, Label Sixteen Nesties, Color spritzing tool, MS butterfly punch, EK Success border punch, Embroidered trim, Ribbon (SU), Kaiser gold pearls
Barbie Inspired
Steph's Inspiration Challenge on SCS was to be inspired by a Barbie website. I chose this Dolly Forever designer doll and was inspired by the colors and those funky layered boots! A rolled felt flower was layered over a scallop circle then anchored with a button and yarn. I dusted off a stamp from the Terrific Tags punch box by SU that hadn't seen ink for a VERY long time and popped it with dimensionals. This qualifies for Jessie Rone's Forgotten Stamp Friday Challenge which is helping me with my new year's goal to regularly use some older stamps. Petals-a-Plenty EF by SU was used to emboss the Sahara Sand base layer. I layered 3 strips of large scalloped Raspberry Fizz (PTI) borders (EK Success punch) and added lace and black pearls. It's pretty much a CAS card...at least for me! It's a global warming temperature of 15 degrees tonight! Think it will be a night for wearing socks to bed! :-)

Sweet Emery
Orange you glad I finally inked up little Emery? He's a new Verve Plain Jane stamp and is just so much fun to color and add dimension! I used the colors for the Play Date Cafe Challenge: gray, green, orange and Sankari's wonderful sketch for the Viva la Verve Challenge on the SCS forum. The sentiment was punched from the DP. Thanks so much for stopping by...TGIF and I'm off work for the weekend (after working the past 2 weekends)! It's calling for really cold temps again, but all the better for stamping time!

Gradient Rose
Kim's Way to Use It Challenge on SCS is to use gradient coloring. I stamped the rose image by tapping the stamp on a Creole Spice Kaleidacolor pad and rotating the stamp so it was totally covered with ink. I then used 3 different very light shades of Copic markers (Y0000, YG0000, YR0000) to fill in the open spaces of the petals. The layout is for the Sketch & Stash Challenge.
STAMPS: Fifth Avenue Floral (SU), Delightful Dahlias (PTI) - leaves
PAPER: Curio DP (BasicGrey), Pumpkin Pie
ACCESSORIES: MS Doily Lace border punch, Lace, Kaiser gold pearls, sponge, Lacey circles Nesties, Foam dots

Hi There!
This is the card I made for MFT Wednesday Stamp Club challenge which includes a sketch. Paper-piecing and coloring with Copics was a quick way to bring this little PI girl to life! The sentiment and sun are from Verve sets. I especially love the sentiment circle with ends of the scallop punched RR paper peeking out. I filled in the blank space using a tiny flower stamp from the $1 bin at Mike's and used the small 4-petal flower punch (from SU's trio of punches) for the leaves. I added a tiny rhinestone to the center and added dots around the circle with a Tombow marker. This is also for the Creative Belli Challenge: the letter "P". This card includes purple, punches, polka dots, & patterned paper.
