Happy hump day and welcome to another Color Throwdown Challenge! The colors this week are purple, blue and green and I took the inspiration photo literally and went with the Pinwheel Party stencils from the Greetery.

PAPER: White, Grape Soda, Lime Green (Reverse Confetti).
INK: Grape Soda, Royal Purple, Baby Blue, Island Blue, Parakeet, Lime Green (Reverse Confetti).
DIES: Pinwheel Party, Twisted Crepe (The Greetery).
OTHER: Pinwheel Party stencils, Sequins.

Summer dream'n is the theme for the new Fusion Card Challenge and there is a great new sketch as well! I did a fusion card this time letting some beach-themed patterned papers do most of the work.
The sentiment is a fun summer time choice from Ink to Paper's Salt Air: Sentiments set released in 2018. I used an old circle border from Verve's Strong Anchor set - no longer available to my knowledge - but I've always loved using it with any kind of nautical card.
PAPER: Tim Coffey Designer Mat Pad by K&Company; Rustic Cream (Ink to Paper).
INK: Enchanted Evening (dye ink by Ink to Paper).
DIES: Stitched Circle Die-Namics by My Favorite Things; Simple Strips by Pretty Pink Posh.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you in the Fusion gallery! ~Wanda
Welcome to another Color Throwdown challenge! This week our colors are orange, pink, green and purple which you can probably guess that I would go with florals! I started with the newly released die called Border Bling: Flower Frame and kept the inlaid pieces in place for a dried embossing look. It's been awhile since I used the Effortless Beauties stamp set, but it's an old favorite of mine.
STAMPS: Effortless Beauties (Ink to Paper).
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface, White (Ink to Paper).
INK: Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Carved Pumpkin, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint, Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry distress inks by Ranger; True Black by Ink to Paper.
DIES: Border Bling: Flower Frame, Effortless Beauties (Ink to Paper).
OTHER: Clear dew drops.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you in the Throwdown gallery! ~Wanda
It's a rainy Tuesday so after throwing a load of laundry into the washer, I hit the craft room and created a card for the June Stock Your Stash Challenge on the Reverse Confetti blog. This month's theme is Hello/Just Because so I went with this Friendly Rainbow stamp set. I decided to create some sunshine on paper! 😎
I colored the rainbow with Copics and color blending ink over the clouds and tag die.
STAMPS: Friendly Rainbow (Reverse Confetti).
PAPER: White, Bright Buttercup (Ink to Paper); X-Press It Blending Card.
INK: Hawaiian Shores, Lemon Tart (Ink to Paper); Memento Tuxedo Black (my go-to ink with Copics).
DIES: Sunburst Tag Layer, Stitched Rays Cover Panel (Reverse Confetti); Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).
That's it for now. Have a wonderful Tuesday and tune back tomorrow for another great color palette for the Color Throwdown challenge! ~Wanda
I have a quick and simple card today for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I re-cycled this Feathered Friend from a card sent to my dad while he was still living in a nursing home. After his death, I didn't want to throw the cards away that I had sent him, so am re-purposing them and will send to someone else to hopefully make their day.
The torn edge panel was die cut from the Share Your Heart patterned papers by PTI. The woodwork panel (Cocoa Bean ink sponged on Classic Kraft card stock) was from my leftover pile.
STAMPS: Framing Florals, Feathered Friends Mini 1 (Ink to Paper).
INK: Distress oxide inks color blended for bird; Green Parakeet, New Leaf, Simply Chartreuse, Pure Poppy (Ink to Paper).
DIES: Feathered Friends Mini 1, Framing Florals, Love to Layer: Scalloped Circles, Love to Layer: Torn Edges, Woodwork (Ink to Paper).
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend! ~Wanda
I started by color blending Fine Linen ink over white card stock for the frame background. I then stamped the frame with Classic Kraft ink.
The leafy background die (Floral Delicacies) was cut from white CS then color blended with Green Parakeet and New Leaf inks.
STAMPS: Blooming Thoughts, Perfect Pairs Commodities, Antique Wishes (Ink to Paper).
PAPER: White, Classic Kraft (Ink to Paper).
INK: Fine Linen, Classic Kraft, Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Pure Poppy, Green Parakeet, New Leaf, True Black (Ink to Paper).
DIES: Floral Delicacies, Antique Wishes, Perfect Pairs Commodities, Blooming Thoughts (Ink to Paper); Sentiment Suite Basics (The Greetery).
Hope to see you in the gallery! For more inspiration from the rest of the design team, be sure to head over to the Color Throwdown blog. ~Wanda
Release day is finally here and I have one more card using the From the Garden stamp and die set plus the ticket image for the sentiment from Vintage Travel. I love when a set gives you multiple options for use and this outline fits many sentiments!
The carnations each have 3 steps in stamping and I chose Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. For the stems, I used Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint - all distress inks.
STAMPS: From the Garden, Vintage Travel, Say It Essentials, Vintage Flair Print.
INK: Versamark; Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint distress inks by Ranger; True Black by Ink to Paper.
PAPER: Soft Stone, White; Bristol Smooth Surface.
DIES: From the Garden, Vintage Travel, Skinny Frames: Diagonal Border by Ink to Paper; Stitched Rectangle Die-Namics by My Favorite Things.
OTHER: White embossing powder by Altenew.
Don't forget... the PTI store will be open with the new release items at 10pm EST. Happy shopping! ~Wanda
It's day four of reveals for the June release at Ink to Paper. Tomorrow is release day at 10pm EST, so get those wish lists ready! Today, we are introducing Vase Collection 2 stamp set and die + From the Garden stamp set and dies + Feathered Friends Mini 12 stamp set and dies + Sidewalk Chalk Flowers stamp set and dies.
When I saw the vase stamp, I knew I wanted to make a cobalt blue and white vase. I have quite a few layers on this card and wanted to showcase lots of texture.
STAMPS: Vase Collection II, Feathered Friends Mini 12 (sentiment), Growth (leaves), Cake Please (flowers).
INK: Enchanted Evening, Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Limeade Ice, Green Parakeet, New Leaf; Versamark.
PAPER: Enchanted Evening, White, Vellum.
DIES: Vase Collection II, Border Bling: Postage Frames, Mix & Mat: Postal, Love to Layer: Floral Fusion, Growth, Cake Please.
On a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of white CS, I added an even messier application of ink by spritzing the flowers and leaves at least twice with water before stamping. From that panel, I die cut the pierced feature frame and saved the center (which I used on a card in yesterday's post).
STAMPS: From the Garden.
INK: True Black; Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint distress inks by Ranger.
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Limeade Ice, White.
DIES: Cover Plate: Trellis, Pierced Feature Frames, From the Garden.
OTHER: Dew drops.
My next background was an idea I saw somewhere on Pinterest. I tore four different shades of blue for the look of ocean waves. I splattered some brown distress ink onto the kraft "sand". The sentiment is from an old PTI set called Salt Air Sentiments. A trio of summer shells and an anchor charm finished off this simple design.
