It's stencil week on the Just Us Girls challenge blog. I tend to use stencils frequently these days...a very quick and easy way to "color" an image! This card uses the Azalea Bunch stamps/stencils by Simon Says Stamp.

Floral Trio
It's another hot day in VA and I'm staying cool with stamping a card for two challenges. It's mood board week on the Just Us Girls challenge blog and I was definitely inspired by the shades of blue in the ocean and also the red poppies. The layout was done using the sketch on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog.
The florals were stamped using black pigment ink then clear embossed and watercolored by smooshing distress inks onto my glass mat, spritzing with water and adding to the images with a brush.

The Paper Players
It was a BIG challenge for me to create a one layer card, but I did it! That's the sketch request for The Paper Players challenge and I liked that the team pointed out if you glue anything onto your card, it's no longer one layer - lol! In the past I have used embellishments, but technically that's a no-no!
I stamped the Sketched Flowers using Versafine Clair Nocturne pigment ink then clear embossed it. I watercolored the image using Pentrista paints then stenciled a watercolored outline using Aqua Mist ink.

PTI Summer Challenge
Check out this opportunity to win a $200 gift card from Papertrey Ink if you are randomly drawn as the winner! Here are the details...
Runs from June 16 to July 15.Your card must be new and include all three techniques:
✅ Ink blending
✅ Die cut layering
✅ Stenciling
You must use Papertrey Ink products and upload your project to their blog post HERE using InLinkz. Share on social using the hashtag #PTIChallenge2025.
I went with my favorite color combo for summer and had a layering up fun time using a big variety of PTI products! I started with stenciling the background then splattered with Peacock Feathers distress ink. The florals and leaves were all die cut from Stamper's Select White paper then color blended. I used dies from a variety of PTI die sets.
So, there you have my creation using the 3 techniques! Crossing my fingers now. Thanks for stopping by! ~Wanda

Word Art Wednesday
There's a new Word Art Wednesday challenge with a familiar verse from Ephesians 3:20. I can remember a former pastor using this routinely in his doxology prayer.
I printed the verse on vellum then layered it over a striped paper from Making Memories that was dated 2005. So...in my stash for about 20 years and high time I put it to good use - haha! I'm loving these stamps/dies/stencils in Kristina Werner's Long Line Roses collection by Concord & 9th! I cut the one floral spray apart to fit it around the verse.
Color Throwdown #835
There's a new Color Throwdown challenge with some of my fave colors: turquoise, yellow and green! I decided to dust off an older Spellbinders set called Tiered Tray. It has coordinating dies and sentiments that make it fun for a huge variety of options to decorate the tiered tray!
The card base and tray parts (except for the gold handle, yellow house, kraft roof, black display board, twig, cutting board) were cut from PTI's Rustic White paper. I added twine for a hanging loop on the cutting board...a small but fun detail.

Fresh & Fruity
Good Tuesday everyone! I finished a quick and easy CAS design for the new Paper Players challenge to get fresh and fruity with a CAS design. I love the two-step lemon stencils from Taylored Expressions that pair up well with the punny sentiments! The sweet ric rac frame adds a touch of texture with the stitching detail.

Inspired By Challenge
There is a fun new photo for the Inspired By challenge! I was inspired to use the rainbow colors and the vertical elements of the freezie pops which led me to feature these candle dies from The Greetery. I must confess that these candles wanted to give me some grief when I was lining up the various stencils. I had several re-dos - haha!

Seize the Birthday - Fancy Fold
Hello crafty friends! I'm back again as a guest designer for the Seize the Birthday Challenge and this week the topping is creating a fancy fold card. I searched for options on Pinterest and finally decided on a Z-fold card and used a tutorial by Tami White for measurements...check it out HERE!
I started with some really old designer paper from Stampin' Up then stamped and die cut the elements for the layered cake and florals.

CAS Sand Dollar
A quick and easy design using the new layout for Freshly Made Sketches and also drawing inspiration with colors and sea theme for The Card Concept challenge. The sand dollar is a long time retired die from Reverse Confetti as is the sentiment set. Patterned papers are also old - Linen Closet pack from DCWV.
That's a wrap for this beautiful Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Celebrating You Today
Another card for my birthday stash that uses criteria for two challenges. The Flower Challenge #103 is asking us to add embossing (heat or dry). I used heat embossing for the sentiment and there are dry embossing details in the ric rac frame and the stitched edge on the plaid panel. The Paper Players challenge is a color challenge: peach, light blue and green.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Have a wonderful day! ~Wanda

Denim Birthday
It's an overcast Sunday with occasional sunshine mixed with occasional rain showers. I hit my craft room after going to church and eating out at our fave Italian restaurant for lunch. I used the layout for the Sunday Stamps challenge #362 and combined it with the inspiration photo for the Inspired By challenge to include denim. I knew right away I wanted to use a 6x6 pad by Authentique called Collection: Original.
I layered up a trio of button dies and added thread to make it more realistic. I always struggle with masculine birthday cards and decided to go that route with a sentiment stamped in Dark Chocolate ink.
STAMPS: Birthday Tag Kit (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Dark Chocolate (PTI).
