WAW John 1:29

Hello crafty friends! It's the first Word Art Wednesday of April and we are featuring this verse from John 1:29. Yes...I am still making an effort to use up an abundance of leftover backgrounds! This one was done so long ago I'm not exactly sure what the technique is called. I dry embossed a plaid background after adding some shimmery paste to the recessed side of the embossing folder.

I double layered the oval die cut then popped it with foam tape for added dimension. I arranged the tiny florals from the fun Easter Egg-stravaganza stamp/die set from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment was computer-generated and printed at 50% size.

STAMPS: Easter Egg-stravaganza (PTI).
INK: Vintage Jadeite, Bright Buttercup, Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet (Papertrey Ink).
PAPER: Sweet Blush, Stamper's Select White (PTI).
DIES: Easter Egg-stravaganza, Pierced Feature Frames, Love to Layer: Ovals (PTI).
OTHER: Texture shimmer paste; Moonshine sequins.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Stamp Simply. They will give away a $25 gift card to some blessed participant...it could be YOU! Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you in the Word Art Wednesday gallery!   ~Wanda
