Inspired By...

Another card from my marathon stamping yesterday was inspired by the sketch and the red and aqua heart colors in the photo for the Inspired By...challenge. I started with the stenciled dotted panel in my leftover pile then added this fun rectangle die. I cut all the florals from white paper then color blended and splattered with water to give it a mottled look.

These geranium dies from Papertrey Ink are some of my favorite go-to flowers in their Into the Blooms series. I debated about what color to use for the sentiment...white embossing on gray? black ink on white? My final choice ended up using gold embossing on white then popping it up with foam tape.

STAMPS: Praying For You Sentiments (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Pure Poppy, Bright Buttercup, Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal, Limeade Ice (PTI); Versamark.
PAPER: Weathervane, Stamper's Select White (PTI).
DIES: Into the Blooms: Geraniums, Reflections: November (PTI); Blueprints 27, Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Queen's Gold fine embossing powder (Ranger); Dotted stencil (PTI).

That's it for today. Tonight is our annual church Valentine banquet. Hoping the icy rain will be stopped by then!  ~Wanda
