There is a country theme happening for the current The Card Concept challenge. I am starting to build up my Christmas stash so out came my Rustic Wood Star die set from Papertrey Ink to the rescue! Buffalo plaid always speaks to me of a country/rustic vibe happening (like you see in the bows in the photo) as does wooden objects, grapevine wreaths, etc. I was also inspired by the colors. All die cuts were cut from white cardstock then colored with brushes using a variety of dye and distress inks.
STAMPS: Joyous Holiday (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Scarlet Jewel, Fine Linen, Harvest Gold, Cocoa Bean, Saffron Spice, Honey Nut, Pinefeather (PTI); Bundled Sage, Rustic Wilderness distress.
PAPER: Rustic Cream, Bitty Big: Harvest Gold (PTI); Bristol Smooth Surface; Christmas Plaids (6x6") by Recollections.
DIES: Rustic Wood Star, Love to Layer: Ovals (PTI); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).
That's all for today! Remember the IG hop for Papertrey Ink's new release will be at 2pm EST today! ~Wanda
