The Card Concept

 

I loved the newest inspiration photos for The Card Concept challenge and went with the "Nature Calls" option using not only plants for the focal point but the colors that were representative of the photo. I will call my style "clean layered" which gave me a chance to create another card using the new Love Grows Here card making kit from Taylored Expressions. I'm working on a gift set for my daughter who LOVES plants and also loves puns (which are many in this stamp set)! 

The stenciled brick base is from my leftover pile and I'm not sure of the ink color but would guess it's Classic Kraft from Papertrey Ink. The plants are all stamped using a variety of distress inks. The pots are stamped with Canyon Clay and Classic Kraft dye inks from PTI.

PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; White (PTI).

DIES: Love Grows Here (TE); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things); Pierced Feature Frames (Papertrey Ink).

OTHER: Brick stencil (MFT).

 

The inside sentiment is a panel that came in the kit along with a variety of other punny sentiments.
