ITP Reveal Day #3

Welcome back for day #3 of reveals for the January release at Ink to Paper! It's all about celebrating and you'll find more ways to do just that. Today, we are introducing Just Sentiments: Milestones stamp set + Number dies, Just Sentiments: Established stamp set + Inside Greetings: Established stamp set.

I went for a more masculine look and kept it simple...only adding greenery instead of my usual groupings of flowers.

I love that this set allows you to personalize your celebratory cards. My husband will turn 70 in June, so I have his card all ready to go!

STAMPS: Cake Please, Just Sentiments: Milestones
INK: Dark Indigo, Soft Stone, Weathervane, New Leaf, Ocean Tides
PAPER: BItty Big: Dark Indigo, Dark Indigo, White
DIES: Numbers, Cake Please, Border Bling: Diamonds, stitched Circles + Rectangles

I created this card for a grand-daughter who will turn 2 this spring! Again, I personalized with the Just Sentiments: Established set + Inside Greetings: Established. The Bitty Big paper series makes it so easy to combine a variety of patterns in one card and so I went with my favorite Sweet Blush color.

"The day you were born was a day to celebrate" is a new favorite birthday sentiment and I wanted it on the outside rather than inside. The heart is from an older PTI set - Love in Bloom - that is still a favorite and thought it would pair up nicely with these sentiments.

TIP: Adding clear embossing powder to the sentiment adds texture and sheen. Also, popping up a couple of layers with foam tape helps to add dimension.

STAMPS: Love in Bloom, Just Sentiments: Established
INK: Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Summer Sunrise, New Leaf, true Black
PAPER: Bitty Big: Sweet Blush, White
DIES: Love to Layer: Notched, Love in Bloom, Stitched Rectangles
OTHER: Clear embossing powder

With this card, I went with a different theme and wanted to celebrate or announce a dad's milestone with expecting a new child this year.

I color blended distress oxide inks (Speckled Egg, Shabby Shutters, Brushed Corduroy) onto Strathmore Bristol smooth surface paper using good quality brushes. TIP: Your paper and brushes make a big difference in getting good blending results!

TIP: Using vellum adds a softness plus it allows the sentiment to be visible while still seeing the background.

STAMPS: Vintage Flair Print, Big Balloon, Inside Greetings: Esteblished, Just Sentiments: Established, Just Sentiments: Father's Day
INK: Speckled Egg, Shabby Shutters, Brushed Corduroy distress oxide inks; Versamark; True Black
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface, Vellum, Patterned paper, White
DIES: Big Balloon
OTHER: White embossing powder

Hang in there for one more card...one for another grand-daughter who will be 7 this fall!

I adore this balloon cover plate die which makes it so easy to create a quick card when you pair it with some festive patterned paper!
I fussy cut the "birthday" word so I could fit it in with the "7" number die.
TIP: Rounded corners echo the rounded balloon shapes plus they soften the feel of the design.

STAMPS: Just Sentiments: Established, Just Sentiments: Milestones, Vintage Flair
INK: Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, Bright Buttercup, Lemon Tart, Green Parakeet, New Leaf
PAPER: White, Patterned paper by Doodlebug Design Inc)
