Color Throwdown #404

It's time for another Color Throwdown Challenge and Amy Rohl is our talented hostess who has chosen a gorgeous summertime color combination - aqua, kraft and white!  Of course, I couldn't resist using some form of beachy theme with my card, so went with these fun Reverse Confetti stamps and dies!

I added a watercolor wash using Pelikan paints then added some splatters in the two colors.

After die cutting the Sand Dollar, I used Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy distress ink markers and lightly dotted the edges then sponged with Crumb Cake ink (inspired by this card by Amy Sheffer).  The sentiment - from Reverse Confetti's God is Good stamp set - was stamped using Early Espresso ink.  Once again, I used two of the border dies by RC called Edge Essentials ...LOVE this set!

Since it's a new month, that means we have a new guest designer to announce.  It's the uber talented Wanda Guess from A Blog Named Wanda!  I LOVE her work and have followed her blog for quite some time!  Can't wait to see what she shares with us!

I'm also happy to share that Ted Mattos from the Happily Ever Crafter blog (I just love that punny blog name!) is our guest star stamper this week!  Be sure and stop by his blog and say hello.

To get all the details on how to play along with the challenge, please go to the Color Throwdown blog and check out the info on the right sidebar!  You can also check out the rest of the design teams' creations for more inspiration on the CTD blog.. or you can clink on their blog links below.
