Mojo Monday

Good Monday everyone! Wishing those of you in the US a happy Labor Day! I am literally laboring as it's a regular work day for me. The joys of being a nurse and missing holiday fun! :-(

Are you ready for another of Julee's great sketches for the Mojo Monday challenge?  This is a really a fun one to layer up! Since it's back to school time for everyone, I chose papers from the Recollections' Back to School paper pad.  The base of the focal point is Verve's Flourished Tag die in Real Red CS, then I white embossed the flag stamp from Remember This (Verve).  Over that is a layered sentiment and fussy cut apples from Verve's Teachers Count stamp set.  The sentiment was stamped on the center portion of the Rounded Scallop Frame die (Verve). I always love the classy look of red, black and white - perfect for a chalkboard look with an apple back to school theme.

What a neat Back to School card, Wanda! Ah yes, good old hospital schedules--I did my share of holidays, but now I'm winding down to retirement! Hope you had a good day!

Love how you placed a tag on this one, Wanda! Those papers and stamps are my favorite for school themes! Hope I still have some in my stash... ;)
