ODBD New Release is Here!

March is here and with a new month comes a new release at Our Daily Bread Designs!  There are prizes to be won, so be sure and check out the information below!
Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD store to be used toward the purchase of ODBD stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the design team cards!  You have until March 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EST to leave your comments on the designers' blogs for a chance to win!  The winners will be posted on the ODBD blog on March 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

My first card features the new Basket of Blessings stamp set and Eggs Dies.  Can't you just imagine all the possibilities for filling this lovely basket?  I generally don't color with Copics on kraft cardstock, but decided to try E31 and E34 after stamping the basket with Coconut Husk dye ink (WPlus9)
and loved the realistic look! I die cut a group of eggs from scraps of designer paper - a good way to whittle down an overflowing scrap pile.  The bow is from ODBD Peaceful Poinsettia die set and the sentiment was stamped on one of the ODBD Pennants Dies. The tulips are an older set called Tulip
Corner that I colored with Copics and fussy cut.  I couldn't resist adding this little chick sticker.  The new Grass Border die is perfect to pair up with the basket, so be sure and add that to your list.

I know this is a long post, so will move right along to my second project using the single Alleluia Chalkboard stamp.

I wanted to create a home decor project and found this pedestal stand at a local craft store.  I wanted the chalkboard image to be the focal point and added minimal embellishments with the ODBD leaves (Zinnia and Leaves), Spellbinders Rose Creations dies, and the ODBD Fancy Foliage dies.  There's a great YouTube tutorial that shows the steps to creating a life-like paper rose HERE if you are interested. This matched nicely with some of my collection of antique porcelain pieces, so had to include them in my photo. :-) I used some of the beautiful new paper - Shabby Rose Collection - in the banner flag.

There are many more gorgeous creations to inspire you by the rest of the design team, so head on over to Our Daily Bread Designs blog or you can click on the individual blog links below.

In case you missed my sneak peek card a couple of days ago, here it is again...

I like this one much better than my first basket card which I created in a rush.  Weather delayed the arrival of my supplies and my brain wasn't in a good mojo mode - lol!  Happy shopping!

Love your home decor project, Wanda! And both those baskets are lovely - the bright colours (and sweet chick) in the first one are a treat to see on a grey day, but I love the daffodils and white background on the second one.

Both of the baskets are beautiful, one more colorful than the other but still gorgeous.
Very clever, what you have done with the chalk board and the coloring of it, to fit your home decor. Just beautiful.

Love both basket cards, but I must make the card with the chick for my grandchildren. I know they will love it, and I'll earn some "grandma points" for sending them this card.
