Sunshine for my Soul

A quick post before I have a hair appointment. I don't frequent Starbucks often (a bit pricey in my book...I'd rather buy stamp supplies - lol), but I always treat myself on the the way to getting my hair done. I'm thinking it's time for a pumpkin spice latte this time. OK...on with my card. Made it earlier in the week, and yes...there it is again!  The new Verve pennant die just begs to be used over and over!  This time I curved it a bit and covered the "bend" area with little pearl flowers.  I used colors for the ColorQ Challenge and used Karen Giron's sketch for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  I added faux stitching using a dark brown Tombow marker.

STAMPS: Learning to Sail (Verve)-sun; Doodled Occasions (Verve)-sentiment.
PAPER: The Sweetest Thing "Tangerine" pad by MME, Chocolate Chip.
INK: Chocolate Chip
ACCESSORIES: MS Doily tag, Adhesive pearls, Pennant trim die by Verve.

We're still getting sporadic rain aka downpours, so humidity and warm temps are still hanging on.  Have a great Thursday everyone!

Yum, Starbucks! Hope you got that latte! Your card is so pretty! I love the flags and little flower embellies between them, and the dp's are great together.

What a great mix of patterned papers and I love the pearls between the pennants. Thanks for joining us at colourQ!

P.S. I don't think I've ever seen faux stitching done quite as precisely as this! You have got quite the steady hand!!
