I have some exciting news to share with you today! I've been asked to join the Color Throwdown design team and, of course, I just had to say yes! I've loved playing along with this group of talented and fun (restraining myself from using the term "crazy" - lol) ladies! I'm also ecstatic at having other new designers join the group as well...Keva Brown, Joan Ervin, Lynn Put, & Lori Tecler! Here are links to the blogs of the entire team - old and new:

So... on to my card for the fab color combo presented by Tammy: Pool Party, Barely Banana, Creamy Caramel & Early Espresso. I went with several patterns from the Paris & Co. pad by My Mind's Eye. The layout is a flipped version of the first sketch of this month's Viva la Verve challenges by Amber in the Verve forum on SCS. I love these sweet little birdies by Verve and paper pieced them!
Here's what else I used:
STAMPS: Making a Statement (Verve)
PAPER: Paris & Co (MME), Vintage Cream (PTI)
INK: Early Espresso, Antique Linen distress ink
ACCESSORIES: Large oval punch (SU), Label die by Verve, Border Die-namic by MFT, Lemon Tart satin ribbon by PTI, Prima, Distressing tool.
Hope to see you join in on this one...would love to see what you create with these great colors!
