Double Trouble
The teapotters have a decorating dilemma this week! We are to decorate a nursery for TWINS! Paticia (kokirose on SCS) has twin grandbabies - a boy and a girl - and papa loves monkeys, so that's our design theme. You can read all the details of Mothermark's story HERE. Every nursery needs a quilt for the crib, so I punched out 12 squares, stitched them together then ran it through the CB using the top note die. The monkeys were colored with Copics (R81, R83, B91, B93) and are perched on punched leaves using SU's 2-step bird punch. I added smiles to the images because I knew that Patricia's family was all smiles at the news of the twins!

I love the quilt you made to bg the monkeys!
How sweet is this! I love it. I always have it on my mind to make a quilt background on a card, but still have yet to do it. Fantastic job.
I love the twin monkeys!!
Great use of that branch to create the "tree top nest" for the monkeys :) Darling card.
Oh I just love the quilted bg! I really need to pull out my top note die too:) This is so super adorable, Wanda!!! #24 is my man too! I really hope he can get some wins this year! I also love college basketball, and usually root for the Pitt Panthers. My hubby and I used to live there and we had season tickets to their games which was sooooo FUN! We really don't have any good teams down here in Orlando and I really miss it. We also used to have season tickets to Clemson Football when we lived there. Oh I just miss college sports!
Love the quilt background! Too cute!
this is such a cute card wanda-love the quilt idea
