ITP Day #1 of December Release

It's that time again! Time for another release that will be happening on the 15th at Ink to Paper! Today we are revealing Anywhere Together stamp set and dies + Border Bling: Skinny Heart Frames dies + Storybook Love stamp set + XO Heart Frames dies.

I was in an aqua and red color combo mode for both of my cards. This bicycle built for two stamp set has so many fun images that can be used for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, weddings, etc.

And then there is the heart frame die set that is one of my faves of the whole release! I used the two larger sizes but there is a third smaller one as well.

I coordinated the colors based on this striped patterned paper from Papertrey Ink.

STAMPS: Anywhere Together
INK: Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist, Honey Nut, Cocoa Bean, Weathervane, Smokey Shadow, True Black
PAPER: Text Style: Candy Cane Prints, Pure Poppy, Stampers Select White
DIES: Anywhere Together, Border Bling: Skinny Heart Frames

My second card features the Storybook Love set that builds on the Christmas Storybook set that was previously released.

You could always fussy cut this new set but, it's so much more convenient to use the Christmas Storybook dies that fit these images as well.
Notice those really great new XO heart dies? Also on my favorites list!

STAMPS: Storybook Love, Storybook Christmas
INK: True Black, Smokey Shadow, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Fine Linen, Pure Poppy, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush, Soft Stone
PAPER: Bitty Big: Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist, Stampers Select white, True Black
DIES: Storybook Love, XO Heart Frames, Pierced Feature Frames

Be sure to check back for more reveals tomorrow! HINT: You will see products with a wedding theme!

Color Throwdown #623

This is the last Color Throwdown challenge of 2020 and we're ending with a beautiful color palette from our hostess Broni: green, aqua and pink! The photo inspired me to use a favorite tree set called Peaceful Forest from Ink to Paper/Papertrey Ink.

I started by stamping the falling snow using Aqua Mist ink. Tree ink colors included Pale Peony, Hawaiian Shores, New Leaf and a neutral Classic Kraft. The star is Lemon Tart ink. All are dye inks from Ink to Paper. I went with Sweet Blush paper for the card base since it blends so well with Pale Peony.

The sentiment is from Sentiment Suite: Christmas by The Greetery and was die cut using their Sentiment Suite Basics set. The white panel was die cut using the lovely Border Bling: Joy Frame by Ink to Paper.

We'd love to have you join us in the challenge! After a brief break, the design team will be back at it the first Wednesday in January 2021!                                      Happy stamping!       ~Wanda

Color Throwdown #622

It's time again for a new Color Throwdown challenge! Barbara Anders is hosting this week and has chosen red, burgundy, cream and kraft. This made me put my thinking cap on, but I finally opted to ink up this Pitcher-esque stamp set from The Greetery and it was the perfect "vase" for this bouquet from the Bittersweet Bouquet stamp set. My "burgundy" appears brown in the photo but it's actually Scarlet Jewel ink.

STAMPS: Pitcher-esque, Bittersweet Bouquet, Signed and Sealed (The Greetery).

PAPER: Rustic Cream (The Greetery).

INK: Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel, Fine Linen, Classic Kraft, Cocoa Bean.

DIES: Pitcher-esque, Bittersweet Bouquet, Signed and Sealed (The Greetery); Stitched Rectangles and Stitched Banner Flags STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).

OTHER: Square Dance stencil by The Greetery; Jute twine.

That's it for now. We'd love to have you play along with us. If you'd like more inspiration from the rest of the design team, you can check them out HERE.

Fusion Card Challenge

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm late with my post thanks to procrastination then a power outage this morning that lasted nearly 2 hours! It's the last Fusion Card Challenge of the year, so we hope you are able to play along with us. I used both the sketch and was inspired by the Ho Ho Ho on the banner in the photo. I didn't have any suitable stamps with gnomes or Santa Claus images, so I went to Etsy and for a sale price of $1.37, bought this delightful digi image from Lili of the Valley! It gave me a chance to color with Copics and find out how rusty I am with them...especially when using shades of red - lol!

COPICS: R05, R24, R46 (for all red areas), YG11, YG13, YG17 (for all green areas), C0, C1, C3, C5, C7 (for penguin), E31, E33, E35, E57, E79 (for reindeer), Y19, Y38, YR16 (penguin bill), E000, E00, E11, E21 (Santa's face).

I used a Clear Star gelly roll pen by Sakura to highlight the snowflakes.

P.S. I'm editing to add the Etsy link for the North Pole Ho Ho Ho digi image.

So...let's gobble till we wobble and enjoy this day!   ~Wanda

Color Throwdown #621

The year is winding down quickly and it's time again for another Color Throwdown challenge! Amy Rysavy is hosting and has chosen red, green, blue and white. I decided to combine my card sample with the Sunday Stamps sketch and also was inspired by the photo at The Card Concept challenge.

I went with the beautiful Pine Blossom stamp/die set from The Greetery.

My style for The Card Concept challenge is clean and layered and my inspiration was the plaid pillow, evergreen boughs and berries.
STAMPS: Pine Blossom, Sentiment Suite: Christmas (The Greetery).

PAPER: Christmas Plaids (6x6" pad by Recollections); Stampers Select White by Ink to Paper.

INK: Red Poppy, Scarlet Jewel, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Bright Buttercup, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, True Black (dye inks by Ink to Paper).

DIES: Pine Blossom, Sentiment Suite Basics (The Greetery); Stitched Rounded Rectangles and Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-Namics by My Favorite Things.

Another Christmas card is completed! Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. For more inspiration from the rest of the throwdown team, be sure and visit the CTD blog to check them out!

S'more Gift Card

I resisted at first, but seeing so many cute cards using Betsy Veldman's S'more Holiday stamp set from The Greetery with the Graham Cracker Cuts die led me to cave in - lol!

I needed several gift cards this Christmas, so this was the perfect

solution for a fun way to present money. I loved Kay Miller's release day card and basically CASEd it (you can see it here on the right).  I added the Nordic Frame layer on my card, did not do any direct stamping to the card base and changed up the sentiment. I kept my version simpler since I needed 3 identical cards.

I layered up the holly bouquet from the Budding Beauties: Winter stamp set (also from The Greetery) and cut it in half to add to the opposite corners. I lightly sponged Classic Kraft ink to the edges of the graham cracker. I only used one ink color - Fine Linen - on the marshmallows. I first stamped off before stamping the base image then inked up the shaded step with Fine Linen again.

STAMPS: S'more Holiday, Budding Beauties: Winter (The Greetery).

PAPER: Stampers Select White, Classic Kraft (Ink to Paper).

INK: Fine Linen, Classic Kraft, New Leaf, Ocean Tides, Pinefeather, Cocoa Bean, Dark Chocolate, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy dye inks from Ink to Paper.

DIES: Graham Cracker Cuts, S'more Holiday, Budding Beauties: Winter, Nordic Frames (The Greetery).

That's all for now...happy Tuesday everyone!      ~Wanda

Peace

I'm trying to complete my Christmas cards and wanted to play along with the Stock Your Stash challenge at Reverse Confetti where the theme is Holiday/Winter. This was such an easy card to complete as the paper did most of the work and no stamping was involved!

The Holly and Winter Words dies are oldies but definitely goodies from Reverse Confetti! I love offsetting two word dies to make it "pop" more. Here I layered white over Pure Poppy. The tree panel and the berries were popped up with foam tape.

PAPER: Merry 6x6" pad by My Mind's Eye; Simply Chartreuse, Pure Poppy, Stampers Select White by Ink to Paper.

DIES: Winter Words, Holly (Reverse Confetti); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things); Skinny Frames: Diagonal Border (Ink to Paper).

I hope your Monday is treating you well! The sun is out this morning but the wind has picked up again. Take care and stay safe everyone!     ~Wanda
