Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

I loved the unique layout for the current Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and just had to play along. I was in an earthy neutral mode and used scraps of patterned papers from Honeybee's Textiles & Textures Vintage pad. I die cut strips and adhered them to a rustic white panel then splattered with Ground Espresso distress ink. Some jute twine topped off this simple design.

STAMPS: Be Encouraged (Creative Worship Stamps).
DIES: Love to Layer: Rectangles (Papertrey Ink); Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things); Diagonal Shortcuts (Concord & 9th).

That's all folks! Have a blessed day!  ~Wanda

I love this card! The earth tones and the stitched rectangles along with that splatter are great. And I love that sentiment!

I love all the texture and elements in your card. The monotone colour pallet is striking. Thanks for playing along with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week.

This is gorgeous!! Love the papers, and for some reason, the twine (to me) really makes this card!! Thanks for playing along at AHS!!

Oh my, I just love this! Those earthy tones work perfectly with your verse! Why can't I ever remember to "spatter" anything? Yours looks perfect! Thanks for playing with our Atlantic Hearts sketch this week, Wanda!

I love this, I love the textured paper and then the added texture of the splatter, and further texture with the twine, so great! Thanks for playing along with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (AHSC).
