Birds of a Feather

The Free 4 All Challenge on SCS was to use an aviary theme plus one color that we normally don't use. For me, More Mustard is not a go to color, though it does work great with some fall themes. I pulled some retired DP by SU from my stash and went with this pocket card that holds a bookmark. My sewing machine was already out and threaded from sewing my dining room valences, so I had to use some stitching...plus it reinforces the edges better than tape or glue when you insert something into the pocket. I used the beautiful Irish blessing from Verve...perfect to mark your way while reading! Must get back to my sewing project...almost finished with my valences and my goal is to have them hung by the end of the day. Good Friday to all of you!
STAMPS: Blessings (Verve)
PAPER: Autumn Vine DP (SU), Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Sage Shadow
INK: Early Espresso, More Mustard
ACCESSORIES: English Ivy border punch (EK Success), 2-step bird punch (SU), Antique brad (SU), Rhinestone, Round Tab punch (SU), Ribbon (Flourishes), Corner Chomper
