Tic-Tac-Toe

The Paper Players Challenge is all about a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. I chose the top horizontal row with celebration, flowers and stencil. The stenciling is very subtle and only involves the ribbon frame. It's a pretty clean and simple design with patterned floral paper used for the negative space of the frame. Some moonshine sequins embellish the design.

Word Art Wednesday

Welcome to another Word Art Wednesday challenge! The verse we are highlighting is from Psalm 105:8. This verse emphasizes God's faithfulness to his promises, specifically the covenant he made with Abraham and his descendants. It highlights that God's commitment to his covenant endures through countless generations.

This tapestry stencil makes a great background and is easy to layer up! The jury is still out on deciding if the corner adornment dies were a good idea or not - haha!

Cupcake Inspiration

 

 

Hello friends! The new challenge for the Cupcake Inspiration challenge is to use pastel colors. I really love the soft peach, yellow and sage that these cupcakes represent! I went with an old favorite group of products from The Greetery for a thank you card.

 

 

For added dimension, I adhered two of the die cut sentiments together then I popped up the floral frame with foam tape.

The Paper Players Challenge

 

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon and so I stamped and die cut lots of flowers and leaves from Papertrey Ink's Wild Petals mini set. I wanted to create a card using  the sketch for the new Paper Players Challenge. Several of the team members created Z-fold cards which inspired me to do the same. It's a perfect fit for this sketch! I had to Google for dimensions and found this excellent tutorial on Tracy Elsom's blog HERE. 

The plaid paper is a specialty paper that is very thin and can be used to make beads. I've never tried using it for that but loved several of PTI's paper pack colors in that series.

Just Add Ink

 

Good Saturday everyone! I needed to add a sympathy card to my stash so when I saw the colors for the Just Add Ink challenge, I went with it. The Lost Lagoon color had me baffled (I no longer have SU inks) so I went with Evergreen Bough distress ink and paired it with two other similar bluish green inks from Pinkfresh Studio.    

 

This Wild Blooms stencil (Papertrey Ink) is another favorite for me. The six layers are very easy to match up so it's a quick and easy way to create a striking background!
