The Paper Players Challenge

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon and so I stamped and die cut lots of flowers and leaves from Papertrey Ink's Wild Petals mini set. I wanted to create a card using  the sketch for the new Paper Players Challenge. Several of the team members created Z-fold cards which inspired me to do the same. It's a perfect fit for this sketch! I had to Google for dimensions and found this excellent tutorial on Tracy Elsom's blog HERE

The plaid paper is a specialty paper that is very thin and can be used to make beads. I've never tried using it for that but loved several of PTI's paper pack colors in that series.

STAMPS: Wild Petals (Papertrey Ink); Sentiment Suite: Thank You (The Greetery).
INK: Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse, Raspberry Fizz, Lovely Lady, Hibiscus Burst, Melon Berry, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise (PTI); Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Razzberry Fizz, Beautiful Beads: Pink & Orange Mix (PTI).
DIES: Wild Petals, Love to Layer: Rectangles, Love to Layer: Ovals (PTI).

That's a wrap for today! Thanks for stopping by.  ~Wanda

What a bright beauty this is! You're right that the sketch suits a z-fold and the pretty plaid you've used makes this one really stand out. The flowers are really celebratory touch too. Thanks for joining in with us again at The Paper Players.

Wanda, I hadn't thought about this sketch as a fun fold sketch but you all proved that I really should have thought about it. The z fold works wonderfully and it was the perfect excuse to bring out some fabulous DSP to boot. I love the bright colors and the pretty florals. Thank you for rocking my sketch at the Paper Players this week
