Mojo Monday

Hello friends! It's Mojo Monday and time for another fabulous sketch - this time by my good friend, Teresa Kline! I flipped this one and pulled stamps from 3 different Verve sets for this card of encouragement.  The bird is paper pieced and the bird cage was colored with Copics: Y00, G20, R81, R83.  Papers are from the Sweet Threads pad by BasicGrey.  For more inspiration from the other mojomakers, head on over to the Mojo Monday blog!

STAMPS: With Love (bird), Lean on Me (sentiment), Doodled Occasions (bird cage).
ACCESSORIES:  Wooden buttons by SU, Picot Edge and Circle Nesties,  Corner chomper, Pennant trim die by Verve, Burlap, Jute twine.

Trendy Plaids

Hello friends! A quick post this morning for the CAS challenge on SCS to use plaid and for the Technique Lovers Challenge to add a little dimension to a card. I decided to break out some new washi tape that I found at Michael's (the 3 coordinating colors were in a package together).  I loved the fun plaid tape and pulled the colors from it to stamp my dimensional flower that is popped with foam dots for dimension.  So very quick and easy to create this card!

STAMPS: Triple Treat Flower (SU), Say It Loud (Waltzingmouse Stamps), Rosy Posy (PTI)
PAPER: Vintage Cream (PTI)
INK: Gumball Green, Positively Pink, Daffodil Delight, Black

Raise the Bar

It's the first Friday of the month, so that means we have a sponsor and a prize at Raise the Bar! We are happy to have Whimsie Doodles as our sponsor...the site of so many adorable digi images! I'm a collector of snowmen and love using them around the house during the winter months, so it's no surprise I chose this sweet Flakey Snowman digi image!  I colored with Copics and added fine glitter to the snowflakes.  Another Christmas card done...check!

Joni gave us this great sketch for our challenge theme, so what are you waiting for?  Join us and go for a chance to win!  For details and more inspiration from the other bartenders, head on over to the Raise the Bar blog.

Christmas Cottage

Good Thursday morning! Using the sketch for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge, I added another Christmas card to my stash.  I colored with Copics and added glitter to the snowy areas.  I wanted a sentiment on the front, so tweaked the 3 circles and went with a fancy label instead.  Earlier in the year, I won a blog candy gift from Verve diva Tosh, and this paper pad from Little Yellow Bicycle was in that prize.  All the blues in that pad are perfect for snowy winter scenes!  That's a clue...stay tuned for tomorrow's Raise the Bar card that involves snow again. :-)

STAMPS: Christmas Cottage (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
ACCESSORIES: Labels Four Nesties, Sheer ribbon, Fancy Framed Tags Two by SB, Pearls, MS fine glitter, Copics.

Primitive Pumpkins

I had a lot of fun creating this fall pumpkin scene using MFT's Wednesday Sketch Challenge for the layout!  I used three different colors of Dylusions ink spray (Lemon Zest, Fresh Lime,  and Squeezed Orange) on white CS, then stamped the Autumn Words stamp in black.  I used the die cut tree for the vertical element (I don't hear challenge police sirens yet - lol). I am also entering this into the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge, which is to be inspired by these autumn words.  This is a new challenge (to me) pointed out to me by Holly, one of the DT members (thanks, Holly!).  Thanks for stopping by...hope you're enjoying fabulous fall weather in your neck of the woods!

STAMPS: Primitive Pumpkins (MFT), Autumn Words (Stampendous)
INK: Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit, Soft Suede, Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: Arboscello Tree die (Memory Box), Pumpkin Die-Namics (MFT), Chevron Die-Namics, Picot Edge circle and Circle Nesties, Dylusions spray ink.

Lenten Rose

Dismal, rainy day...good day to get inky and play along with the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge!  Denise is hosting and is asking us to think pink.  I knew immediately I'd grab my favorite Flourishes set: Lenten Rose.  I used Lori Boyd's great sketch for the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #71.  My card fits an invitation style envelope (4 1/2 x 6").

Mojo Monday

October??? Can't believe it's here already, but it is!  Since Christmas is entirely too close in my future, I decided to build up my holiday stash some more.  Julee has a really fun sketch for the Mojo Monday Challenge!  I used the large doily Die-Namics die by MFT for the large circle element.  Couldn't resist this sweet and elegant sentiment from Verve's Blessed Christmas set...a perfect fit for the layered flag!  The poinsettia is die cut from Riding Hood Red CS and sponged with the same ink.  Leaves were a light green in my leftover pile (? color) that I sponged with Old Olive ink.  I used the petal roller tool to slightly curve the edges. DP is by K&Co.

For more inspiration from the other mojomakers, hop on over to the Mojo Monday blog and check out their samples!  Can't wait to see what you create!
