It's been awhile since I used this fun lemon stamp/stencil/die set from Taylored Expressions. It was perfect for the sketch by Linda at Freshly Made Sketches and I used the first vertical column (stripes, birthday, twine) for the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge at The Paper Players . Technically, it doesn't mention birthday on the front, but the inside has handwritten thoughts that celebrate the birthday girl!
INK: Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Limeade Ice, New Leaf, Honey Nut (Papertrey Ink); Versafine Claire Nocturne pigment ink.
PAPER: Stampers Select White (Papertrey Ink); Black & White Stripes 6x6 pad (My Favorite Things).
DIES: Squeeze the Day (Taylored Expressions); Stitched Banner Flags & Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics (MFT).
OTHER: Squeeze the Day layering stencils by Taylored Expressions.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy 4th of July to all you friends in the United States! ~Wanda

ReplyDeleteAdorable, Wanda! This lemon paper is so bright and fun. I can almost taste the tartness. The bold sentiment is perfect and punny. This card will brighten someone's day! Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this! I am constantly amazed at how stencils can give such depth and color to a card! You've used this one perfectly, and the pops of black add fun and drama! So happy you were able to play with us at the Players this week!
ReplyDeleteYellow and green are two of my favourite colours. This is such a bright and happy card. Thanks for sharing with The Paper Players.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully bright and cheerful! I love the stencil in the background with the die cut lemons on top. The black stripes are a great accent. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
