I wanted to create a generic baby card with pastels using the amazing new die set - Go-To Gift Card Holder: Diaper Bag - just released by Papertrey Ink in June. Also new in that release is the Fantastic Front: Scalloped Frame die with the Congrats die sentiment. I was inspired by the newest Festive Friday challenge and used pastels, texture and a bear to complete the theme.
I don't have a photo to show a gift card inserted into the bag but, I assembled it so there is a gap behind the onesie and bib if needed. All the pieces were die cut from white cardstock then color blended. I double cut the 'congrats' sentiment and also fluffed up the tassels to give added dimension.
STAMPS: Boutique Borders: Baby (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Vintage Jadeite, Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Classic Kraft, Honey Nut, Dark Chocolate (PTI).
PAPER: Stampers Select White, Lemon Tart, Fine Linen, True Black, Vintage Jadeite (PTI); Metallic silver.
DIES: Go-To Gift Card Holder, Fantastic Front: Scalloped Frame (PTI); Blueprints 27 Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).
That's a wrap for today! It's a horribly hot and humid day again...just waiting and praying for rain to relieve our dry crunchy grass. ~Wanda
