Can you believe we are already on the last reveal day? Tomorrow at 10 PM ET you will be able to purchase the new items we've been introducing the past four days. Today, we are introducing Oh, Holy Night stamp set and dies + To Die For Sentiments: Happy Hanukkah die + The Greatest Gift stamp set and dies.
This is a stamp/die set with a trio of beautiful evergreen trees! They are fairly large, so I went with a mini slimline sized card. I first put down a watercolored background using Salvaged Patina distress ink. I then stamped over the panel using the tiny snowflake "dots".
You can't see all the texture and dimension in the photos, but I had fun playing with a new medium - Distress Grit-Paste Snowfall - that will be carried in the PTI store with this release. It has the look of heavy frost on tree branches with a hint of shine and a raised texture that I accomplished with a small palette knife (think popcorn ceilings - lol). I splattered the trees with a brush using Permanent White Gouache that I watered down.

The Jewish celebration of Hanukkah is also called the Festival of Lights, so I knew I wanted to feature some form of light which I did using these candle images from an old PTI set called Polka Dot Parade #12.
I die cut the sentiment twice from Dark Indigo paper then layered another cut from silver foil paper by Recollections. Star Dust Stickles (another new product that will be available in the PTI store on release day) were added to the flames.

I got a chance to try out the new Seeing Stars stencil set from PTI and used Liquitex light modeling paste which adds dimension to the stars. The sentiment was white embossed on vellum and cut to fit the manger opening.
