Another Wednesday has rolled around and that means a new Color Throwdown Challenge! Lisa Henke is hosting this week with some awesome fall colors of kraft, brown and rusty orange. I started with a kraft frame that I "white washed" with some white pigment ink than stamped over it with Scattered Straw distress ink. In hind sight, I wished I had used a slightly darker shade of brown ink. The fall leaves were stamped with at least two different distress inks then spritzed lightly with water before stamping it onto Bristol Smooth Surface paper.
STAMPS: Antique Wishes, Leaves in Fall (Papertrey Ink).
PAPER: Classic Kraft, White, Text-Style Distressed Dots patterned paper by Papertrey Ink.
INK: Barn Door, Rusty Hinge, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Scattered Straw distress inks by Ranger; Dark Chocolate (PTI).
DIES: Antique Wishes, Leaves in Fall (PTI); Stitched Oval (Lil' Inker Design).
We hope to see you in the gallery! Happy stamping! ~Wanda
