Mojo Monday

Are you ready for another great Mojo Monday sketch challenge? Get your shades on for this post because I went with some bold neon colors for this party card!

I've been in a smooshing mood lately and this time I took a tip from a fellow stamper and smooshed the distress inks onto a piece of
acetate rather than my craft mat.  Doh!  I could have kept my craft mat looking nice instead of being stained with colors.  Live and learn!  I smooshed Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade distress inks then spritzed with water.  I "picked up" the colors by laying an A2-sized piece of TH watercolor cardstock over the inked acetate.  All of the stitched elements are dies by Lil' Inker Designs.  Stamps are from Verve's Deco Borders set.  I thought it would be fun to make a shaker panel for the sentiment, so I recycled old sheets of acetate from cardboard frames that held work awards from many years ago.  I simply don't have space to keep all of that old memorabilia and find myself purging more and more as I get closer to retirement!  :-)
