My first card uses the single Sand Dollar stamp (it's pictured here as part of the Ocean Treasures set, but it can be purchased as a single stamp as well) and the single Legend of the Sand Dollar stamp. You can see how I added the legend to the inside of the card below...
I heat embossed the sand dollar image on the card front using malachite embossing powder on Lost Lagoon cardstock - giving it a verdigris look - then layered it over some natural colored raffia. Designer papers on both of my cards are from the Tim Coffey designer mat pad by K and Company.
Moving on to my second creation...
I stamped the sand dollar in Marina Mist ink, fussy cut, sprayed with Smooch Spritz to give it some sparkle and sheen, then popped it with foam tape. The sailor's knot (see "how to" under my Tips/Tutorial's tab at the top of my blog) was made using Blue Hawk twisted mason line - found in the hardware department at Walmart. The copper colored mesh (5 1/2" wide and comes on a roll) has been in my craft room for a long time and was never used until now. I again added the Legend of the Sand Dollar stamp to the inside of the card.
