Color Throwdown

Hey, hey, hey...it's another Color Throwdown Challenge day!  How about this cool color combo by our hostess, Tammy, this week?!  Those cookies look like the perfect dessert for a 4th of July picnic!
Since it's a new month, we are welcoming a new guest designer for the month!  Welcome to Diane Jaquay and be sure to visit her at her Peaceful Lane blog!  I love her design style and can't wait to see what she creates as our guestie!

I went with a CAS design using a fave layout with an angled panel.  I stamped a canvas BG stamp in Strawberry Slush ink over Strawberry Slush cardstock then layered the die cut flower using foam dots.  The leafy die was cut with both Vintage Cream and Bermuda Bay CS then offset slightly for a shadow effect.  I tucked this wooden pick into the foam dot behind the flower and scattered a few wooden veneer stars for embellishments.  Easy peasy!

Play along with us this week and you just might be in the spotlight next week by being our guest star stamper!  You don't have to have exact colors to play along, but you do need to have a close resemblance.  Be sure and link your creation to the linky tool at the bottom of the current challenge post on the Color Throwdown blog.
