HB Collage Card

 

I needed to decompress after a stressful week, so I hit up my crafting room after a discouraging visit with my husband who is battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia and has been hospitalized for over a month. I'm entering this card into the Just Add Ink challenge where we are to use dies or stencils or both. I used both with products from Creative Worship Stamps. 

 

I smooshed Stormy Sky and Salty Ocean distress inks onto Bristol Smooth Surface paper. After drying with a heat gun, I then stamped the music, dots, measuring tape and script with Versafine Clair Nocturne. Next, I used the single damask stencil with Liquitex light modeling paste. The butterfly was clear embossed and colored with distress inks and an aquapainter.

STAMPS: Spring Collage Tag, Wonderful Words of Life, Made New, Texture Tiles 6, Vintage Snippets (Creative Worship Stamps).

INK: Stormy Sky, Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint distress inks (Ranger); Versafine Clair Nocturne.

PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Black Licorice (Lawn Fawn); Stampers Select White (Papertrey Ink).

DIES: Spring Collage Tag, Made New (Creative Worship Stamps); Blueprints 27 (My Favorite Things).

OTHER: Single Damask stencil (CWS); Liquitex light modeling paste; Clear embossing powder; Brads.
