B & W Birthday

 

I'll have to admit...it was difficult to think of a birthday card design in only black and white! This was the requirement for the Seize the Birthday challenge. I started with a leftover black foiled background with leaves. I'm thinking it would work for a masculine, fall b-day. The sentiment was die cut twice and glued together to give added dimension. I color blended a couple of leaves for embellishments. 

 

STAMPS: Birthday Your Way 2 (Papertrey Ink).

INK: True Black, Smoky Shadow (PTI); Versamark.

PAPER: Stamper's Select White, True Black; Hammermill 100lb wt. white paper for foiling panel.

DIES: Birthday Your Way 2 (PTI); Heart die (?); Maple leaves (Simon Says Stamp); Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).

OTHER: Matte Black foil; Fallen Leaves hot foil plate (PTI). White embossing powder.
