It's hump day and you know what that means? Another Color Throwdown challenge is up and running! I really love these cheerful colors - red, yellow and green - chosen by Vickie this week!
I haven't played with my PTI Into the Blooms II dies lately, so it was time to dust them off and get busy creating some dimensional florals. I started by die cutting them all from Bristol Smooth Surface paper then color blended and splattered with water.
The Border Bling: Lotty Dotty is a new favorite of mine and it worked well to let the Pure Poppy paper peek through. I had pretty much filled up the card front, so the solution for a sentiment was adding a mini tag.
STAMPS: Tag It Minis (Papertrey Ink).
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Pure Poppy (PTI).
INK: Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Pure Poppy, New Leaf, Simply Chartreuse (dye inks by PTI).
DIES: Into the Blooms II, Tag It Minis, Border Bling: Lotty Dotty, Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die (Papertrey Ink).
OTHER: Twine, Moonshine sequins (both from PTI).
That's a wrap for today. We'd love to have you join in the challenge! ~Wanda
