Day 1 Reveals Ink to Paper

It's day #1 of reveals of the July release at Ink to Paper. Everything will be available to buy on the 15th at 10pm EST. Today, we are introducing you to Prosperous Perennials stamp set and dies + On the Border: Leaves die + Prosperous Leaves Background stamp + Feathered Friends Mini 13 stamp set and dies.

I love anything leafy in stamps and dies so the options here were so much fun to play with!

My first card started with smooshing some vivid distress inks in shades of green onto Bristol Smooth Surface paper. I also used some of the leftover ink to smoosh onto Ranger water color paper for the base layer.

I cut three of the sentiment dies and adhered them together to give it a chipboard consistency. The florals were all cut from white card stock and color blended with brushes.

STAMPS: None
INK: Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover, Cracked Pistachio distress inks; New Leaf, Simply Chartreuse, Honey Nut, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; White
DIES: Into the Blooms, On the Border: Leaves, Love to Layer: Scalloped Circles

My second card features the leafy background stamp and is paired with the new mini feathered friend.

I stamped the background with Green Parakeet ink first, then dabbed the Hawaiian Shores ink pad in random spots and spritzed lightly with water before stamping it onto the white paper.

INK: Green Parakeet, Hawaiian Shores, Cocoa Bean, Limeade Ice, New Leaf, Aqua Mist, Weathervane, True Black, Olive Twist, Soft Stone, Summer Sunrise.
PAPER: Hawaiian Shores, Green Parakeet, White.

My last card focuses on the Prosperous Perennials set paired with the On the Border: Leaves die.

I popped a couple of the flowers up with foam tape for more dimension. Rain stones were added for a "dew kissed" touch!
