Color Throwdown

Hello and happy hump day!  Monika has chosen some great primary colors for the Color Throwdown Challenge! I went with a literal interpretation of the photo and used some balloon stamps and dies - inspired by this card by Dawn Woleslagle.

I hand drew the balloon strings with a gray 0.3 Copic multi liner pigment ink pen. The die cut balloons were popped with foam dots. The blue "happy" is also a die cut.  I'm going to be needing a big stash of masculine birthday cards next month, so this is a start.

For more inspiration and guidelines to play along, please visit the Color Throwdown blog...or...you can go to each of the design team blog links below:

STAMPS: Whole Lotta Happy (WPlus9).
PAPER: Pacific Point (SU), White (PTI).
INK: Pacific Point, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight.
ACCESSORIES: Happy Trio and Whole Lotta Happy dies by WPlus9; Stitched rectangle die by Lil' Inker Designs.

Hope to see you in the gallery...
