Color Throwdown

Joan has a unique, somewhat monochromatic color scheme for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge! My grandmother and mother were both avid quilters, so this inspiration picture really caught my eye.  I thought these colors would work well with PTI's Watercolor Wonder stamp set that hasn't seen ink in my craft room for a long time.

Since neutrals are a "free" color, I chose to add a pop of black with the Chloe Stem die, sequins and sentiment.  Easy peasy card!

It's a new month, so we have a new guest designer on board...  welcome to the talented Susie Moore of The Dies Have It blog!
Our guest star stamper this week is Diane Jaquay of Peaceful Lane - be sure and check out her gallery HEREPlay along with us this week and you just might be in the spotlight next week!  You don't have to have exact colors to play along, but you do need to have a close resemblance.  Be sure and link your creation to the linky tool at the bottom of the current challenge post on the Color Throwdown blog.
Want some more inspiration from the rest of the design team?  Check them out below...
