Color Throwdown

It's time for another Color Throwdown Challenge and Tammy is our hostess with a rainbow of lovely colors that have a wide range of possibilities!  I went with the brighter tones since I needed to build up some birthday cards to keep on hand.

I didn't think I would find any designer paper with all of the colors, but miracle of miracles...I found this striped pattern in the "Vanity Fair" Six by Six collection by My Mind's Eye - my favorite paper company!  Because I wanted to stamp each flower image twice (first in Regal Rose then again in Melon Mambo after moving the stamp slightly to get a shadow effect), I couldn't use the coordinating dies and had to fussy cut them.  I then popped them on foam dots after stamping the stems and leaves with Certainly Celery and the splatter image with Cajun Craze.  The stamp set is "Mums the Word" by PTI.

Remember...you don't have to have the exact colors.  Use something close and then link it up on the Color Throwdown blog using the linking tool at the bottom of the post.  If you post to an online gallery, please use the keyword, CTD268.

For more inspiration, you'll want to check out the rest of the design team's creations, along with our uber talented guestie, Cindy Lawrence, for this month!
