Thanks
...to Claire for her generous offer to give away a free set for a lucky participant of the weekly Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge! My name was drawn several weeks ago, and I chose this Say it Loud set that has an endless variety of possible sentiment combinations. Kelly has another great sketch for us...very CAS but can be dressed up or down. I kept my card simple, so I wouldn't cover up these beautiful new papers from MME's Six by Six collection called Paris & Co. The decorative edge was made using Tim Holtz' Ornate die - once cut using Chocolate Chip and again cut using the dotted swiss DP. I am so sad that my supply of these vanilla rosettes by SU is nearing the end! They are no longer in the catalog and my search online was a dead end. If anyone knows where I can buy more of these satin roses, please let me know! Thanks for stopping by and commenting...I always love to hear from you!
And it's absolutely stunning! I do like the paper you've used and that bow is just fab! I have bow envy - I'm not good at them :) Whereas, you most certainly are!!
ReplyDeletewow Wanda, this is gorgeous...I adore those papers and can't wait to use mine...sweeeet!

This is a absolutely gorgeous!!! Fabulous papers and love the TH die and ribbon combo!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the DP and the sketch. Dollar stores carry these rosettes sometimes, but think they would be in a smaller size. Checked e-bay and saw some.

Lots of make your own video's too if you're stuck and still really want some. Perhaps a crafty friend with a glue gun could make them for you :) Just google Satin Rosettes
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous. Love the bow :-)
ReplyDeleteWaow.. that is an amazing card. Love the colors you use. Have a nice sunday
ReplyDeleteOh so PRETTY, Wanda! I love the angles of your "topper"! The swirls in the paper go perfectly with the flourishy sentiment! The colors are amazing, too. Good luck on your silky rosette search, but it was so worth it to use one of your final ones on this card ;)!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! The heck with bow envy - I have card envy! You might want to check wedding supplies for more of those ribbon roses although it really isn't dificult to make your own.
ReplyDeleteYou make the prettiest cards!
