Viva la Verve

I'm just now getting around to using Amber's great Viva la Verve sketch challenge for the first week of June and love the easy composition! I used some new paper from my shopping excursion yesterday with 2 stamping friends (a hotter than Hades trip with the car thermometer saying it was 102 degrees outside at the hottest point!). But it's never too hot to shop...especially when it's to find new papercrafting goodies - lol! The tag is a Maya Road kraft mini tag. This is also for Wendy's Free 4 All challenge on SCS where we are to use a forgotten, never inked stamp...in this case the sentiment. I really love Julee's fonts on Verve stamps and I nearly always gravitate to a Verve set when I'm choosing a sentiment! Just don't know why it took me until now to ink up this sentiment! :-) What did I use?
STAMPS: Many Blessings (Verve), Great Friend (Verve) - flower
PAPER: 5 & Dime (October Afternoon), Yankee Doodles (We R Memory Keepers) - used for flower
INK: Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: Sizzlets Little Leaves die (SU), Maya Road kraft mini tag, Mega Lg. Oval Nestie, Scallop border punch (SU), Say it in Studs adhesive crystals by Prima Marketing.

  1. I knew you would be in on that trip with Teresa LOL! Sorry to hear it was so hot, but I'm sure it was well worth the finds :) Trusting you got some wonderful goodies! Great take on the sketch :)

  2. This is gorgeous.. I love this paper. It is so hot here too. I am so tired of it. We have had 3 weeks of 90s and now storms today. Great card.
