Inspired By: Gifting

 

It's a bitterly cold and windy day today. I'm fighting off a nasty cold so I'm hunkering down and created 3 gift cards that are a mini slimline size. Perfect to give cash!  I was inspired by the tags and pine cones in the image for the current Inspired By challenge which has a gifting theme. I played with a recently gifted die set from Tim Holtz. 

 

I started by stenciling white ink onto kraft paper for the background. I then added two different layers of washi tape for the "ribbon". I cut all the die elements from white card stock then color blended.

INK: Color Box "Frost White" pigment ink; Ground Espresso distress ink (splatters on pine cone); Pure Poppy, Dark Chocolate, Cocoa Bean, Classic Kraft, Pinefeather, Ocean Tides, Ripe Avocado, Simply Chartreuse (Papertrey Ink).

PAPER: Kraft (My Favorite Things); Stamper's Select White (PTI).

DIES: Mini Essential Slimline Bundle (Pinkfresh Studio); Holiday Brushstroke #2 Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits; Traditional Tags STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).

OTHER: Holiday Berries stencil (Papertrey Ink); Gold cording.
