The Paper Players

Jaydee has some awesome colors for The Paper Players challenge this week! I had to sneak a few green leaves in there but the primary colors are red, gray, black and white.

I love theses dies from the Into the Blooms: Poppies set by Papertrey Ink and thought they would work well with these colors.

I die cut all the pieces then colored them using a variety of distress inks. After dry, I splattered with darker shades and/or water to give it a mottled look.

STAMPS: Lush Bloom (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Lumberjack Plaid, Worn Lipstick, New Leaf, Crushed Olive distress inks (Ranger); Harvest Gold (PTI); Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Stampers Select: White, True Black (PTI); Free Spirit 6x6 pad by Reverse Confetti.
DIES: Love to Layer: Ovals, Into the Blooms: Poppies, Lush Bloom  (PTI).
OTHER: Red twine, Moonshine sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!  ~Wanda

  2. Hello again, Wanda. I just wanted to pop by again to say that I just posted the new challenge at Word Art Wednesday and YOU are the lucky winner. I hope you'll stop by to play along with us again in the new challenge. Also, please email me to claim your prize. The card you created and entered in our challenge was such a blessing to me and I appreciated your post as well. Then, when it's time for me to draw the winner...I pray and ask God to be in charge of what number it lands on and who wins the prize. I always trust that God knows best as to who needs that little pick-me-up at certain times. Well, God chose to land on YOUR number. I was delighted when I saw that beautiful card again and realized that it was you who had won. Praise God! He really does know when we need a blessing, and because we have asked of Him, He is answering. I do hope that the same is true with everything you and your family have been facing. I'm keeping you guys in my prayers, and prayed for you again this evening, my friend. I look forward to hearing from you soon. - Karen, Word Art Wednesday
