I wanted to play along with a couple of challenges this morning while the rain is steadily coming down! The Inspired By challenge has a floral theme plus I was inspired by the blue striped pot. I am also entering this into the Freshly Made Sketches challenge where Cecile has a unique, fun sketch that I loosely interpreted with this twig sided frame die.
INK: Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Lost Shadow distress inks; Classic Kraft, Dark Chocolate dye inks (Papertrey Ink); Versafine Clair Nocturne pigment ink.
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Stampers Select White (PTI).
DIES: Bowl of Blooms (Reverse Confetti); Border Bling: Twigs, Cover Plate: Quilted (Papertrey Ink); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics, Blueprints 27 (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Clear embossing powder.
I smooshed distress inks onto my glass mat then used brushes to watercolor the pot and flowers. The image was first stamped with black pigment ink then embossed with clear powder. Thanks so much for stopping by...hope your weekend is going well! ~Wanda
So pretty! The vase is perfect and I really like the twig frame. Thanks so much for playing along at Inspired By! ~Laurel
