It's the last day of reveals for the March release at Papertrey Ink. Today, we are introducing you to Reflections: March stamps and dies + Elegant Script Hot Foil Plate + Elegant Edges: Flourish dies.
I started with a favorite neutral for the background (Soft Stone) and kept the floral with a light color palette. The sentiment was stamped with a pigment ink that is a favorite for crisp results: Versafine Clair Nocturne.
STAMPS: Reflections: March.
INK: Sweet Blush, Lemon Tart, Vintage Jadeite, Ocean Tides; Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Stampers Select White, Soft Stone.
DIES: Reflections: March, Into the Blooms: Daisies, Exstravagant Floral Frames, Border Bling: Tin Stitch.
OTHER: Thread; Stitched Rectangle STAX dies.
My next card features the beautiful elegant edged flourish!
I "lined" the back of the flourish with True Black paper and popped up the sentiment with foam tape. There is a light gray stenciled background using the Dotted Hexagon stencil. A trio of moonshine sequins finished it up.
STAMPS: Mother's Day Sentiments.
INK: Salvaged Patina, Kitsch
Flamingo, Saltwater Taffy, Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Mustard
Se3ed distress inks; Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Stampers Select White, Bitty Big: True Black.
DIES: Mother's Day Sentiments, Elegant Edges: Flourish.
OTHER: Moonshine sequins, Dotted Hexagon stencil (PTI); Stitched Rectangle STAX dies.
The Elegant Hot Foil Plate makes such a beautiful background! I used white matte foil on Harvest Gold paper. The flowers were stamped in 3 steps using Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy and Scarlet Jewel. My green PTI pads are needing refills but since they are not available from the manufacturer, I had to use ink cubes from Pinkfresh Studio in Grassy Knoll, Key Lime and Olive for the stems and leaves.
