Christmas is over for another year and we are back to revealing the rest of the December release at Papertrey Ink. Today, we are introducing you to Into the Blooms: Wreath dies + Chalkboard Love stamps and dies + At the Bottom Stencils.
You have probably seen those sidewalk easel signs in front of restaurants and stores that serve as advertisements. That's what inspired me for this fun card!
I stamped the Weathered Wood Background using white pigment ink over Pool cardstock. I did not want the "wood" frame to be quite as wide as the die, so I cut it down slightly after adhering the "wood pieces" to adhesive paper.
I stamped and die cut two of the little banners then pieced them together. The sentiment and hearts with arrow elements were stamped, die cut and popped with foam tape to the chalkboard background.
STAMPS: Chalkboard Love, Weathered Wood Background, On the Bunny Trail.
INK: Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores, True Black; Color Box Frost White pigment ink.
PAPER: True Black, White; Pool (Foiled Fox).
DIES: Chalkboard Love, Woodwork, On the Bunny Trail.
OTHER: Red & white thread.
I wanted to use the new wreath dies and sentiment stamp/die with some older favorites of mine (Tin Stitch die and Mix & Mat: Plaid die). I cut all the florals from white Bristol Smooth Surface paper then color blended with brushes using dye inks.
STAMPS: Forever and Always Sentiments.
INK: Sage, Eucalyptus, Spruce Tips, Lush Forest, Soft Lilac, Candy Violet, Lavender, Regal Kiss (Pinkfresh Studio).
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Lemon Tart, White.
DIES: Forever and Always Sentiments, Into the Blooms: Wreath, Border Bling: Tin Stitch, Mix & Mat: Plaid.
OTHER: Purple and white thread.

Love the chalkboard card! Such a cute idea. The other card with the floral wreath is lovely also.
