Freshly Made Sketches #600

Hello crafty friends! There is a huge milestone happening for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge! They are celebrating their 600th challenge and I was honored to be asked to be a guest designer for the occasion! It's a great layout and we'd love to have you play along!

I thought it would be fun to use the largest of the sunflower dies from Papertrey Ink's Into the Blooms: Sunflower die set for the circle element. I cut all the pieces from Bristol Smooth Surface paper then color blended. My recently discovered technique to create floating strips had me back at it with strips of yellow and aqua.

I added a hint of texture by stenciling lightly with Hawaiian Shores dye ink and the A Little Sketchy stencil from PTI. Some clear sequins in two groups of 3 were the finishing touch. I wanted the sentiment to be a thanks theme...thanks to the FMS team for continuing to provide the stamping community with top notch challenges!

STAMPS: Effortless Beauties (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Limeade Ice, Green Parakeet, New Leaf, Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Fine Linen, Classic Kraft, Cocoa Bean dye inks (Papertrey Ink).
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, White (Papertrey Ink).
DIES: Simple Strips (Pretty Pink Posh); Into the Blooms: Sunflower (Papertrey Ink).
OTHER: Moonshine sequins, A Little Sketchy stencil (Papertrey Ink).
