Seize the Birthday

Good Saturday everyone! I made yet another card using the Let It Grow kit recently released by Taylored Expressions and am entering it into the Seize the Birthday challenge and included the "topping" to add the sentiment to a banner. I'm also playing along with the Inspired By challenge. The inspiration photo with the pillows inspired me to use the bright colors of pink, turquoise, yellow and navy as well as polka dots.

I started by stamping the punny sentiment in Enchanted Evening ink

onto a white banner. I layered it over a polka-dotted patterned paper - again inspired by the dotted pillow.

INK: Bundled Sage, Rustic Wilderness, Twisted Citron distress inks; Enchanted Evening, Tropical Teal, New Leaf, Raspberry Fizz dye inks by Papertrey Ink. 

PAPER:  Summer Dreams 6x6" patterned pad by Echo Park; White (PTI).

DIES: Let It Grow (Taylored Expressions); A2 Nested Pendant Etched dies by Photoplay; Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).

OTHER: Stencils (Let It Grow kit); Twine.
