Are you ready for another awesome release? I'm always amazed at how the creators keep rocking new design ideas and they've done it again! This is the first day of reveals of the March release that will be available on March 26 at 10pm ET. Today we are introducing you to the Stationary Kit + Elegant Edges: Doily dies + Floral Garden Hot Foil Plate + Vase Collection 16 stamps and dies + Border Bling: Scalloped Frame die + Love to Layer: Lovely Bracket dies + Inside Greetings: Family stamp set.
The stationery kit is amazing and it gives you so many awesome options for gifts!
Let's start with the gift box which was made using Stampin' Up's envelope punch board. It's so easy to complete! I used a belly band for the closure of the box then tucked in a variety of the foliage options behind the monogram layered circles. Here are the steps involved:
It will comfortably hold 3 cards and envelopes (and possibly 4) if you have minimal layers/embellishments.
STAMPS: Stationery Kit.
INK: Pinefeather, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Simply Chartreuse, Spring Moss, Lovely Lady, Limeade Ice, Green Parakeet.
PAPER: Classic Kraft, Vintage Cream, Pinefeather; Bristol Smooth Surface; Textured heavy weight patterned paper (used for box).
DIES: Stationery Kit, Pierced Feature Frames, Love to Layer: Rectangles, Love to Layer: Circles, Alphabet dies from the kit.
OTHER: Jute twine, A Little Sketchy stencil, Bronze foil, Circle hot foil plate from kit.
TIPS
1. Use the inside portion of the middle pierced frame to create a mat around the smallest rectangle die.
2. Pop up the layered sentiment frames with foam tape and add twine for more dimension.
3. Stencil over the stamped foliage background for added interest.
4.
Use a belly band for closure to the gift box and tuck in a variety of
die cut floral stems behind the monogram circle. Add another circle die
on the back to stabilize the florals.
I haven't used all the elements in this kit so be sure to look below at everything that is included.
Next, I have a monochromatic card which was very difficult to photograph! The metallic silver plus the holographic silver foil used with the hot plate was very challenging.
The doily die makes a lovely addition to a simple layout. I later thought it would have been a good fit for a 25th anniversary card.
INK: Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Silver Shine; White; Glimmer Specialty card stock.
DIES: Love to Layer: Rectangles, Elegant Edges: Doily.
OTHER: Simple Strips dies, Stitched Rectangle dies, Floral Garden hot foil plate, Silver foil, Silver rhinestones.
My third card highlights the new addition to the vase collection.
I softly watercolored the background with distress inks and also included the smallest size of 3 new Lovely Bracket dies and the Scalloped Frame die.
STAMPS: Vase Collection 16, Inside Greetings: Family.
INK: Green Parakeet, Cocoa Bean, Melon Berry, Berry Sorbet, Pale Peony, Sweet Blush, Harvest Gold; Dried Marigold distress ink; Misty Coast, Metropolis; Verafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Watercolor (Ranger); Bristol Smooth Surface.
DIES: Vase Collection 16, Love to Layer: Lovely Bracket, Border Bling: Scalloped Frame.
OTHER: Moonshine sequins; Banner flag die; White gel pen.
