Hi crafty friends! It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge and this week we have yellow, sage green and gray. I purged some inks awhile back and apparently got rid of a sage ink pad that I now wish I had. Does that ever happen to you? :-( I had to make do with what I had.
The online class - Stenciled 2 - was a great series of videos and I picked up so many new tips through the different presenters. This card is one that showcases the Berry Branches stencil from Papertrey Ink with adding some glitter paste over one of the berry steps.
I incorporated the gray color with stenciling some random small dots using Pinkfresh Studio's Rocky Slope ink. Sadly, the photographs do not show the sparkle well at all.
STAMPS: Perfect Pairs Essentials (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Gentle Moss, Simply Chartreuse, Aqua Mist (PTI); Rocky Slope (Pinkfresh Studio); Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; White, True Black.
DIES: Perfect Pairs Essentials (PTI); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Berry Branches, Small Dots stencils (PTI); Glitter Paste (Recollections); White embossing powder (Altenew).
We'd love to have you join us in the challenge. Hope to see you in the gallery! ~Wanda
Lovely Wanda! I also took the Stencil 2 class and enjoyed it tremendously. I like your subtle use of color choice with a bit of glam!
